The Valley Railway
Previously known as Evesham Vale Light Railway, the journey takes you around the top of the Country Park overlooking some of the best views the Vale of Evesham has to offer. Passengers can alight and have a picnic at Evesham Vale Station, near the medieval-themed play fort. It is also a 5 minute, flat walk back to the shops. From here you can also enjoy walks to the nearby River Avon.
The Vale of Evesham has an abundance of history for you to explore – from the ruins of one of the largest early medieval Abbeys, to the site of Simon de Monfort’s defeat at the Batttle of Evesham.
Meet The Engines
We have a number of steam and diesel engines at Valley Railway. We are always looking for more volunteers to help look after them. Get in touch if you think you can help.

Adopt an Engine
Coming soon – Adopt any of the engines at Valley Railway. It makes a great gift and helps us look after the engines all at the same time! Adoption lasts for 12 months and comes with a host of benefits.
